Had a very good day of sightings! Observed 21 monarch butterflies, mostly bright colored. They were eating, mating, and actively flying about. Saw one catapeller and took video. Given what I am hearing about sightings in my ecoregion, I have observed more monarchs in my prairies (42 acres) then other observers during the summer months. Also, I've been asked to talk about monarchs by local Rotary Club, local library, a local women's organization and my church. I' ve been most pleased to do it😄☺️ Larry miller
