Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 07/14/2014

Number: 1

Basically I wanted to report that I am finding so many more egss and caterpillars this summer than last. I walk at least once a day and have been sighting caterpillars of all sizes and many eggs. Right now I have at least 20 caterpillars in my aquarium to raise and set free. I have set 8 monarch butterflies free since July 1. I was also sighting caterpillars and monarch butterflies near Traverse City, MI when I was there. I watched a monarch lay eggs on milkweed in my garden on July 16. Although I didn't see my first caterpillar until late (June 20, 2014), it has been uphill since:)
