So exciting to find 2 health 1 1/2" Monarch caterpillars on a small patch of Swamp Milkweed in an old garden this evening. I'd been neglecting to check there in favor of a newer area with plenty of butterfly activity. Unfortunately the new garden with a larger patch of this wonderful native has yet to produce a caterpillar.
