I read last year that the hummers enjoyed black and blue salvia and planted some this year. I was rewarded! Though the resident male primarily eats from the feeder, the young ones spend lots of time at the salvia. I've also seen them at the hibiscus, lantana, and caradonna salvia in addition to the feeder. I currently have 2 adult males, 1 juvenile male, and another that may be female.
