Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 08/07/2014

Number: 5

Today was by far the best day for me as far as seeing Hummers. There were more than 5 I'm sure but for me that was intenses. I put up another feeder and boy was that the difference. I made my own sugar as well and they were diving into that as well as the red one I had bought. Saw many babies little ones. I was standing right next to the feeders when one flew in and drank while I talked to her. I was amazed the little one wasn't the least bit afraid. I could have touched him. This is my first week doing this and happy I found this to do for the birds and hope they all come back again next year. Still trying to get the perfect picture. My dog Emily sat in my lap as they flew in and out and she didn't even bark at them. She probably thought they were a butterfly or big moth.
