July 26/14. On that date two larva changed into their chrysalises that had been feeding on a swamp milkweed in my flowerbed. Eggs laid by the same monarch on wide leaf milkweed in the garden hatched and grew to one quarter inch then disappeared. It has been two weeks today since they changed and should hatch soon.
