I finally found a larva in a large field of milkweed in my town. I have it, along with fresh milkweed leaves, in my butterfly keeper until it turns into an adult. I will release it at that time. I'm very excited to have it and hope to find more in the coming days! There have evidently very few adults in this area this year, sad to say.
