Enjoying the pentas in my yard. Another single monarch we saved from the pool on 7/16/14. We have had only a few sightings this year of adult monarchs. Had a few caterpillars in the early summer on my milkweed. I have milkweed that grow naturally and so does my two neighbors. The first pods in February I use the seeds to grows more. Had bad experience with buying milkweed from Lowes a few years back when I had several monarchs born handicap with wing deformities. My neighbor is reporting this now. It is very sad. How can we stop big chain nurseries from selling this like this?
