A beautiful female Monarch in good shape flew to my garden today. She lit upon my tallest A. syriaca plant and rested for about 10 minutes. Then, she flew to the end of the garden and laid an egg on a small A. speciosa plant. She flew back to the tallest A. syriaca plant to rest for several more minutes before flying southwest.
