Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/10/2014

Number: 2

Sighted (from 30 feet) two Monarch butterflies flying in large field west of the Prime Hook visitor center. The butterflies were large and distinguished by black and orange wing coloration. I was able to confirm that they were not Viceroys because they did not have black lines crossing the post median hindwings.

Unfortunately, I did not have a cameria with me.
