We have observed 2 adult, fairly large hummingbirds (about 3" long at least) that feed off the red honeysuckle plants in our backyard. Their bodies are green and they have a white throat (I don't know what type that is, sorry). We saw only one starting about a month ago but now see two flying around our yard. We then see them flying up into a nearby oak tree, which is where I believe their nest is. But what was really interesting was to watch them also perch in nearby palm trees for a few minutes which I have never seen them do. They seem to ignore the 2 hummingbird feeders we have placed outside prefering the honeysuckle instead. I wish I had a picture to send but they move too fast!
