There are at least a dozen fourth and fifth instar caterpillars in my yard, on common and swamp milkweed, and also on some small volunteer tropical milkweeds. There are also a few second instars, but haven't found any eggs recently. I see 4-5 adults in the yard every day, mostly on the Meadow Blazingstar (Liatris ligulistylis). It's awesome!
