Beautiful summer afternoon, 84 degrees and a calm wind. We were out working in the yard and this female monarch was busy laying eggs on our milkweed. She was hard to photo as she was quick to move and did not stay still long. We have observed several young larva and eggs on the backyard milkweed. Hopefully, this is a good year for monarchs!
