This is my lucky day I had a pair of monarchs on my Joe pye weed this evening. They did their little wing flutter together and female flew off. The male continued to feed on the joe pye weed. As the female flew I noticed another milkweed growing along the lake it was in the tall weeds. That is where I discovered 4 monarch caterpillars. I am telling you, anyone reading this, plant milkweed if you want monarchs.
