It's cloudy here today so I did not expect to see any activity. I spotted this female monarch flying toward the milkweed along the lake. It feed on the milkweed for awhile. I also observed the monarch deposit eggs on the milkweed. Than it flew off looking for a place to hide from the rain. The monarch was in good condition but the color is starting to fad.


I talked to family in Austin Tx they are starting to see more monarchs so they are on the move.
