i have a large garden with many flowers. One of the plants I have acquired is a Buddleia (butterfly bush). The monarch came floating into the garden checking every plant. I do not think I have any host plants for egg laying. It circled the bush several times but did not light. So what do I need to do to help them more? Not enough plants of the right kind for sipping or not enough of the right kind for egg laying. Then it just floated off. My goodness. It was in excellent condition, big and beautiful.
