Just a note from here in SWTx. Must have seen at least a dozen queens in the last 5 days. Not enough to call it a migration, but 5 today and they're fresh and fairly large. But no monarchs yet. We drove 100 miles west Wed and 65 north today for Eco Camp and I sat doing dragonfly observations actually. But no monarchs. I wouldn't be surprised if you began to have cases of mistaken identity (of queens reported as monarchs).
