Sightings report image

Date: 08/18/2014

Number: 1

I was surprised to see this male monarch today. It's cloudy humid day it fed on the Mexican sunflower and zinnia it landed on the lantana. Not its favorite flower stayed a second. It's been in the garden all morning. I saw the monarch and a black swallowtail do the butterfly flutter with their wings. Than landed on the milkweed. The butterfly was in good condition after all the rain we just had.
