Two male monarchs were sighted patrolling a patch of Asclepias fascicularis milkweed plants that were growing in a forest clearing in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains about 50 miles east of Sacramento, Calif. adjacent to Pioneer Bible Church, 6851 Mount Aukum Road, Somerset, Calif.
