I found a water logged wild female hanging on to a milkweed leaf this morning in my backyard. We had a thunder storm yesterday with heavy rain. I recommend waiting to release them into sunny weather, if possible. Heavy rains can kill them. She reminds me of that kitty poster "Hang in there Monarchs".
