I'm not sure it's peak migration, but I have seen 3 bright monarchs over the past two days. We have a large milkweed patch, that was in peak bloom by 7/13. It has now completely died back and some plants are setting seed pods. Our first caterpillar count was 9 (6/30) and our second count was 16 (7/15). I never found any chrysalis' in our milkweed patch. I hope to one day see a monarch emerging from a chrysalis here in our milkweed patch. I'll keep looking!
