This location is a busy public library. At about 5:15 pm, the male ruby-throated flew in to the landscaping near a lane for dropping off automobile passengers. He perched on a bird of paradise plant (in bloom) and seemed to be eying the firecracker bush Russelia equisetiformis) nearby. However, he did not take nectar before he flew off. I hope to see him again.
