I eagerly watch for Monarchs every summer, and had not seen any for 2 years. My yard is surrounded by woods and I foster loads of flowers and milkweed. It's been incredibly depressing to witness the Monarch's decline, and I was thrilled yesterday to see TWO males when I stopped at a nearby (to my home) flower vendor! I saw both very closely and clearly, so am sure they were male Monarchs. Sadly, they were not in my own yard, but pretty close!
