For the last 3-4 weeks I have been filling 4 feeders daily and feel certain there have been at least 30 hummers (almost 75 pounds of sugar!) It amazes me that they love to feed even
in stormy weather! It is so much fun to watch them during their
feeding frenzy!
However, over the weekend, only 2 feeders per day had to be filled, and I only counted 12 birds this morning, so, sadly I think they are starting to leave. Despite
the slow start this season, it's been a busy season in DeWitt
at the Clay house.
