The morning of 8/21/14 I observed an adult male at the nectar feeder. He was pestering the juveniles and kicking them off the feeder perches with his tail. So much fun to watch. I have not seen an adult male in the yard since then. At one point this summer there were 3 adult males. I believe there were 2 adult males that spent the summer in the yard. I am now seeing at least 7 non adult males most likely an adult female or two and some juve's. For certain there is a young male juve as there is significant streaking on his throat. Including a nice photo of adult male I took this summer.
