For 3-4 weeks, I have been refilling my 4 feeders daily and feel
certain there have been at least 30 hummers. (used almost 75 lbs
of sugar) It is so much fun to watch their feeding frenzy! Amazing how much they enjoy feeding during stormy weather.
Over the weekend, I only had to refill 2 feeders each day and this morning I only counted 12 birds, so, I guess they are
starting to leave my area. Despite the slow start this season,
they eventually came in full force and have been such a pleasure. I miss them already
