I am trying to get caught up on my sightings to report for my summer and fall of 2014. Here is my current update for rearing and releasing Monarchs this season. As of today I have released 83 total, 36 females and 47 males. I recently donated 29 caterpillars and 1 egg to my local school for preschool through third grades. I have 65 chrysalis, 40 caterpillars and 3 eggs. I will be looking for more to rescue before the field across the road gets sprayed for a crp program. Feeling hopeful about the upcoming migration.
