At least 15 monarchs were nectaring on red clover along the roadside during a 20 minute observation period. I was delighted to find miles and miles of blooming clover while driving near Glencoe, MN. I haven't noticed so much clover before and am curious to know whether it has been planted recently. If mowing could be managed for monarchs, the clover would be a bountiful nectar corridor for migrating monarchs.
