Shorebirds have been coming through southern Alberta in small flocks for the past few weeks. Black-bellied Plovers, LB Dowitchers, Greater & Lesser Yellowlegs and more. Flocks of American Avocets numbering a few hundred, many of them in winter colors have been seen. Warblers are starting to pass through. Recent sightings include Magnolia, Tennessee, Am. Redstart, Black & White and Wilson's to name a few.
