On a walk this afternoon I visited a wildflower garden about 3 miles from my house. There were many Monarchs nectaring on the liatris, so many it was hard to oount, but they were bright in color and large in size. As I was walking along the path next to the creek, the Monarchs continued to increase in number. I could get very close to take pictures as they were feeding, so I am sure this is part of the migration. I am going back in the early morning to see if they are roosting in the trees. It was exciting to see so many beautiful Monarchs!
