There were 9 caterpillars on my milkweed in July. 3 went into chrysalis on August 1st and the 4th on Aug 7th. 3 emerged as butterflies yesterday (August 26) about 2 pm and they flew away this morning when it warmed up. The last chrysalis is still green.
