I found 2 eggs in different milkweed patches in my garden early this evening. I didn't really expect to find any, because we had no monarchs at all last year. So far this year we've spotted 3 butterflies (or the same butterfly 3 times). Yesterday, as I reported, I found a caterpillar; it was in a milkweed patch that is about 75 feet from where I found today's eggs. I hope this means there are more out there.
