Visited the wonderful MN State Fair this week. Not a single butterfly in the Ag Building's beautiful gardens. Yet down the way was the "Butterfly House" where we could pay to see them. Talk about irony!

On a positive note we did see 3 monarchs in a tiny native garden feeding voraciously on meadow blazing star!
