Hummingbirds are very feisty...we have one of the females who comes that visits a specific feeder (it seems like it belongs to her alone). She'll also sit on the deck railing between sips to rest, digest, get more, then moves on.
The birds are so interesting at this time of summer; we truly enjoy the changes in behavior.
