Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/28/2014

Number: 1

Noticed a monarch in the wildflower garden about 3:30pm. I think it was a female since I din't see the circular glands. It was the most faded of color that I have seen this season. It visited a yellow Mexican Hat and multiple zinnias. At one point it chased away a dragon fly, following it for about 25ft then turned and came back to the flowers. It circled the whole back yard also landing on agastache in a different bed.
