I purposely got some milkweed to grow in my garden the past two years. This year I saw two adult monarchs in July!! On Aug. 24 I saw three monarch catapillars eating away on the milkweed!! Two were fairly large, one was tiny. The next day they were gone. On Aug. 27 I saw one fairly large one. I can not find any crystallis however.
