...cont. It appears that the more mature females, which had put on body mass and the remaining males literally consumed all the nectar in 20 single feeders between noon and 5:00 pm. Refilled all, but feeding/sightings were space until an hour prior to sunset. Appeared to be mostly small females and sighted perhaps one or two small males. Birds appeared to be more at play at the feeders than exhibiting aggressive behavior towards others. Frequently observed a hummer approach another at a feeder...than, both flew off together, often displaying fast maneuvers as well as climbing skywards to 100 ft or more.
