We were visiting family in Wyoming, Michigan (near Grand Rapids)the afternoon of 8/25/2014. I saw this butterfly in the neighbor's back yard on a hibiscus flower. The butterfly flew from bloom to bloom and rested occasionally. I only saw this one, no others.
