This is a picture of my milkweed plant along my lake. I thought there would enough plant for the last 4 caterpillar boy was I wrong. I relocated them in my garden this morning and they are already eating on the new host plant. I moved another 1 that was along the lake on another bush that was looking pretty pitiful .
I knew the caterpillar was not ready for the chrysalis. I read if they don't get enough food the monarch could be smaller. Also you should not move them if they are not moving. I counted about 26 caterpillar at different stages on my two milkweed plants in the garden. Hurray Hurray. Go Monarchs!!
