2 sightings 2 days apart of a solitary adult in a newly installed meadow garden that had a great no. of swamp and butterfly milkweed in it. Monarch flew around most of the 15 min of observation, occasionally lighting to feed on the butterfly milkweed that is in full bloom and to investigate the swamp milkweed which is beginning to go to seed.
