I have reared and tagged 20 Monarchs. I reared 17, from either egg or larvae. I have one more to go,. I am a little worried because it fell while spinning and finished up his chrylilis on the bottom of the cage.After it dried I replaced it up to hang. It dried abit wrinkleed on one side. I started the release on August 23 and released again today Just one today. I had a total of 11 females and 9 males.. During the release period of aug. 23 to 29- 3 wild ones were captured in my yard and we caught them and tagged. We have been watching another 10 Monarchs larva in my neighbours garden and they must have left to spin because I could'nt find them on the leaves.
