Well they made a liar out of me. I have been watching the feeders for many hours today. All day up until 2:50 I've seen nothing but juveniles and females. I couldn't believe my eyes, I had to look for some time to confirm it. I have seen one male, a very small one but he seemed to have mature coloring and mature activity. He had a dark head, black I would say and the white ring around his neck definitely a male. Just saw another Male. This male was a bit bigger so I've seen two males today in five or six hours and I usually have many many males. It sure does seem as if most males have left the area.
