I still have two resident males guarding "their" feeders. I have 4 feeders up. Interestingly, up until a few days ago I had 3 resident males guarding feeders...the feeder that no longer has its guardian present is now used by females and juveniles but the other males continue to stay with the feeders they have guarded for the last couple of months. The hummingbirds are also very interested in the althea(rose of sharon bush), black and blue salvia, walker's low nepeta (cat mint) and petunias.
