Checking the Swamp Milkweed plants in my garden this morning, I found 20 2nd instar caterpillars and 1 egg. I'm bringing them inside to protect them. The milkweed is full of aphids, so I'll have to go searching for milkweed to feed them. I have released over 100 monarchs the past 2 weeks.
