Found two more good-sized monarch caterpillars on milkweed in my backyard today. (I'd estimate I have at least 50 milkweed interplanted throughout my different garden beds.) Found three caterpillars yesterday. All in all, I've found about twenty caterpillars total in the past two weeks (one is now a chrysalis, a second is in j formation). This is so encouraging compared to 2013, when I didn't see a single monarch or find any caterpillars.
