Observed either a monarch or a queen at approximately 5:15pm nectaring on cosmos. I looked in the garden just a bit ago in hopes of getting a photo & s/he was gone.
I cannot be 100% confident regarding today's sighting - definitely large in size yet we know size doesn't matter much.
