I find the eggs and cats on the plants in my yard and down the road.I bring them home and raise them till the fly away. I have been doing this for around 10 years. I lived in the bronx until last yr I used to have hundreds leaving my apt I even tagged them a few times. I used to get them from the sides of the road in the bronx. They always cut down the milkweeds. I wrote mayor bloomberg an asked him to leave the milkweeds alone on the Hutchinson river pkwy and all over were they grew but never got any replies. It was very sad to see cats on the plants,to many to take home and the next day drive by and see everything cut down knowing they were cut up by the machines. Last yr I moved up here I found 3eggs raised them. They flew away never saw another one. This yr is only a little better. I have been raising them. If I find it I take it home I will not leave it out I the field to many things can kill them I have around 50 cats so far and have let about 10 butterfly's fly away
