Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/01/2014

I cleaned my feeders and filled AGAIN yeah they are still here and crazy and wild as ever. :0) Went out this morning and my little "Friend" flew right over almost in my face and perched herself on her little vine to my left. She is just about the cutest thing I ever saw. Yesterday after filling and hanging the feeders up I was bent over pulling a weed and heard the hummer right next to me. I thought she was going to land on my back. I turned my head so slow to get a good look at her and she has like a white stripe across her neck. Not sure if it was feathers or a scar. I just want to take that little baby inside with me and keep her. Those little birds are so used to me and not afraid at all. Hope their new home is as nice to them as I am and they are taken care of well. I love this new hobby that I just stumbled upon one sunny morning and looked up and thought it was a moth until I saw it was a hummer. I have seen the birds before but never thought they would be in my yard. So much to learn about them. Will get back later hoping by then I'll have some pictures up for all to see. :0)
