One ruby throated male feeding at feeder. Not sure if this is a regular (first seen today at 5 pm) or a migrant. (Other neighbors have feeders up so it could be a local who came to visit.) The male came straight in to the feeder and fed. Usually migrants have to buzz around a bit checking things out before feeding. Weather hot 90F, partly sunny (thunderstorm went around me about 30 min ago), slight breeze, very humid but humidity beginning to drop slightly 69 %). Until yesterday I had two resident males still guarding "their" feeders but they were only present in the morning then not seen again that day. All the hummers are getting chubbier. The juveniles are the slowest to bulk up.
