I have noticed that the leaves on the elm trees are beginning to turn yellow and drop from the trees. The flowers in my garden have stopped budding and many have stopped flowering. The nights have become much cooler - 6 to 8 degrees centigrade. The crows have been gathering in large flocks in my neighbourhood and the nuthatches and chickadees appear to be eating more frequently.
